This is something my friend Jamina and I put together one night. Rather late at night I might add... These are from all the adaptations of The Shadow.

Highly Probable Outtakes from The Shadow

#1) Harry Vincent wandered into the alley, looking for the ganster that he was following. The alley was dank and grimy, and the light was dim and gloomy. It seemed impossible that the man could've disappeared, and Harry trudged on into the darkness. Nearing the end of the alleyway, the pavement changed into brick and mortar, with more brick than mortar. Not paying close attention to his footing, Harry felt the ground give below him... *clearing of throat, speaking a bit more forcefully* He felt the ground give below him. CUT! What's wrong? *Harry grinning trying not to laugh* I think the trapdoor is broken...

#2) Imagine you've got this nice shot of The Shadow running between two buildings, guns drawn, low to the ground so no one sees him.. the camera rolls on right beside him.. suddenly there is an "oomph!" and the camera rolls on without The Shadow, and you hear trashcans go clanging. Groans of pain are heard. MEDIC!

#3) "hahahaha take this evil gansters!" *squirt squirt* *stares at guns* What the? Uh oh!

#4) *spooky laughter and "BANG" banner appears out of gun* Oh dear.

#5) The criminals stood petrified, the shadow's laugh echoed all around them. A voice spoke from the dark mists, "You will surrender yourselves to the police! NOW!" The crooks shook in their shoes. Their guns slipped from well-trained gunhands, their eyes were wide open and staring. Suddenly another voice rang out, that of a woman. "Lamont! You get in here this second or you are going to bed without dinner!" The criminals tried to stifle their laughter.. The shadow's voice spoke again, "Margo!" He complained, "But I'm just getting to the good part!" "Lamont Cranston! Right NOW!" "Oh alright.. see you tomorrow guys.. I have to go home now."

#6) The Shadow runs along side the building, keeping in the dark shadows in order to remain undetected. He pulls out his guns...*COUGH* GAH!! 'What is it now?' I just swallowed a fly.

#7) Who knows what evil lurks under men's hats? The Shadow knows! Contributed by YF19pilot

#8) The Shadow fights against the phurba, requiring every ounce of strength he could muster. The knife tried to free itself from his grip, but only took him along for the ride. WHAM into a pillar, and The Shadow sinks to the floor, the knife still battling to wound him. *director's voice interrupts* CUT! No no no! You didn't hit the pillar right.. lets do it again people! *The Shadow gets up and gets in position, but the knife flies up to the director* (In a high raspy voice) What do you mean he didn't hit the pillar right! This is the 10th time we've had to do this scene! I don't want to have to deal with this! I WILL BE IN MY TRAILER!

#9) Harry Vincent broke into a sweat as he stared down the barrel of a gun. He was tightly bound to a wooden chair. The gangster sneered. “You’ll soon find out what happens to spies.” He cocked the trigger. “What do you want on your tombstone?” “Pepperoni, if you don’t mind. And can you make sure the cheese is completely melted? I can never get the middle done just right.”

#10) The darkness of the room was penetrated by a faint blue light that came from a lamp that was located above the table in which it illuminated. A black rectangle came into the light. Two white hands also came into view, a sharp contrast against the black object. The long slender fingers opened the object to reveal a laptop computer. The screen came up and the fingers set to work, being controlled by an invisible mind. The sudden beep of an error echoed in the silence of the dark room. The fingers froze. "What do you mean Explorer has committed an illegal error? I'm not even using Explorer!" A voice speaks in surprise. The error is resolved and the fingers continue their work. All of a sudden the screen goes blue. A grumble is heard. The computer is shut down and put to the side. A pad and pencil come into the circle of blue light. "Sometimes change isn't a good thing." The same voice says.

#11) The familiar blue light that provided the only illumination in the sanctum of The Shadow, clicked on. A pile of newspaper clippings were neatly arranged on the tabletop under the light. Long, white fingers arranged them in another order as if trying to put a puzzle together. One hand slipped into the darkness only to return with a timepiece. It registered ten minutes after midnight. The hands remained motionless as an invisible mind pondered over the information before it. Suddenly a mass of black fell upon the clippings. The sound of light snoring filled the dark room. The Shadow never slept when crime was running rampaged...until now.
